Orient and Flume Paperweights

Orient and Flume are best known for their iridescant and surface effect paperweights. However in the 1980s they also made a small number of fine millefiore paperweights of which the following two are examples:

This is signed W.James, 1989 and may be a one-off. A unusual single concave facet on the top mirrors the internal design.

This is signed G.Held, 1983 and is known to be a small limited edition as we have seen several examples.
A very well executed millifiore mushroom with colourful complex canes sits inside a six sided faceted weight.
